My Bio...
I am one of the founding mentors of One More One Less Mentoring program. I joined this program the very first time I saw what Ron Beazer was accomplishing three years ago. I graduated from Northern High School in Baltimore and am currently enrolled at Ashford University studying Political Science/Liberal Arts and minoring in Business Management. I was also a mentor with the Big Brothers Big sisters program for two years.
I serve as the Chief Operating Officer of the program, which means I oversee the day to day aspects and logistics. My most imporant job however, is to be a postive mentor to the kids enrolled in One More One Less. After years of searching for my purpose in life, I’ve found it here.
As a child growing up in a single parent household, I know well the issues and trials of growing up without a steady father figure and the temptation to stray onto the wrong side of the tracks. I use my experiences and life lessons of living in different cities across the country and also overseas to enrich the lives of the boys and to show them the LIFE SKILLS and culture needed to become a well rounded adult.
The thing I love most about One More One Less is the diversity of the mentees and the mentors. Having different backgrounds and experiences gives for a more engaging program. I am proud to be working with such positive men striving to raise our next generation of Black men.
